I saw these today, thought they might make a nice touch to a digital car.
Especially for those that just can’t seem to find the right gauge software for their front end, LOL.

Check out the 5 minute video, pretty cool, and plug and play for most cars.
Hope it helps!

Does anyone know of any adapter in existence that can make a PCI card sit flat, like 90 degrees to the side? I’m envisioning like an L shaped PCI slot adapter.
Any help greatly appreciated ![]()
I’m a bit confused.
I’ve always learned that electricity moves from a positive source to a negative (like positive/negative terminals on a car battery). However, with all these diagrams I keep seeing and studying, barely anything is ever wired to a negative post, or even back to the negative terminal on the battery. Everything goes to Ground. I am a bit at a loss of words for this. What confuses me even more is that I’ve always learned that Ground is a 3rd wire (like the 3 prong plugs in your home [+/-/G]) and is not treated as a negative terminal.
Now, with all that in mind, when I build my diagrams for my own project I keep wanting to draw negative wires going to negative terminals, all which lead back to the negative terminal on the battery. I have yet to see a single diagram from anywhere else that does this, and I’m starting to wonder why…
Sure, the negative terminal on the battery is bolted to the car’s frame. And in a round about way, everything else that’s grounded to the frame is technically wired back to the battery… But wouldn’t this create a charge throughout the entire car’s frame, because ultimately anything on the negative flow had to come from the positive flow, right? Seems very odd to me!
Could someone shine some light on this dark subject for me! Thanks!

For some strange reason the company I work for occasionally makes me be a cameraman, I tried to palm it off onto my assistant who went to film…
My first post….
Im editing a skin and in my audio_player skin I put a small button ontop of my album art. So when i click on the album art it loads my fullscreen avs skin, all this works fine. But when I go back to the audio_player skin that small area on the album art is now blank ( transparent).
Is there a way to reload my audio_player skin? I tried discardable, but it closes all of RR, but the music keeps playing.
I have the Carnetix P2140 (1.8.3) connected to my PC, and use the USB connection with the Psumoni software to shut down. I’ve set the soft jumpers to Standby, but it still shuts down. I can put my PC in standby by pressing the power button, by selecting standby from the start menu or by using standby from within RoadRunner. The PC starts automatically when power is restored. Is there something in the setup that I am missing??? I would love to be able to use Standby instead of shutting down and going through a cold boot.

Shown as-is (no mounting hardware, but SATA cable will be included). One of the fastest CF card reader/writers, DMA-enabled Compact Flash cards can take advantage of SATA 150MB/s bandwidth (versus PIO 16.6MB/s burst). It is able to boot the operating system (when used with boot-capable CF card), while allowing hot swapping of cards with ease. This adapter is fully functional, now has blue LED indicator, and is extremely fast with an Ultra-DMA capable Compact Flash card.
This adapter was used in conjunction with a 4GB Sandisk CF 5000 Compact Flash (not included), and it took advantage of the UltraDMA feature of the CF card. With a generic CF card (as a removable device) plugged in, connecting the adapter to the PC was like plugging in a USB flash drive. It didn’t require drivers, so the card was immediately recognized. Hot swapping the cards did not pose an issue either especially if the media was recognized as removable storage.
